Walnut Creek Art & Wine Festival


June 3 & 4th

This summer brings the 36th annual Walnut Creek Art and Wine Festival back to Heather Farms Park for a weekend full of food, fare and fun. Two days of non-stop entertainment for the whole family and a special kids zone with electric train and water walking. Of course the main event of food and wine highlights wine and beers from all across the Bay and local food including local favorite Three Twins Ice Cream.

Pleasant Hill Wine at the Plaza

1st Thursday of the month June/ July/ August

6:00pm- 8:30 pm

Downtown Pleasant Hill Plaza

A fun event with great music, wine and beer running all summer long. The main attraction is the free live music in front Jack’s restaurant with a family-friendly atmosphere and plenty of food and fare to keep everyone happy.

Walnut Creek First Wednesdays- Bikes, Bites & Blues

5:30-8:30 PM

Cypress St. Walnut Creek

Starting Wednesday June 7th , the first Wednesday of every month will feature music, food and fare for all members of the family. The infamous food truck Mafia food court will be in full swing, beer and wine will flow and shopping opportunities will be endless.

Paint Nite Out @ 1515 Restaurant & Lounge

June 7, 12, 14, 26 @ 7pm

Flex those creative muscles while sipping on the perfect cocktail with friends. Paint Nite is a great break from the daily grind where you can go and spend a few hours creating and one-of-a-kind painting. No experience needed just a good attitude and a pension for fun.

Alameda County Fair:


It’s baaaaack. Horse races. Rides. Games. Fireworks. Music. Monster Trucks. Every fried food imaginable! It is all here at the Alameda County Fairground in Pleasanton. Opening day is June 16 and run through July 9. Fair open daily 11am- 11pm with adjusted hours for the carnival and horse racing.

Opera in the Park:


Sunday, June 11th at Civic Park in Walnut Creek. Bring and blanket and enjoy the early evening operatic performance for FREE!

Fathers Day Car Show


Muscle cars, hot rods and classic autos are all featured in this Father’s Day special event at the Blackhawk Automotive Museum Sunday June 18 from 8am-1 pm. Featuring a catered brunch (additional cost), family fun activities and music it will surely be a morning any car-loving dad will enjoy.

Walk in the Wild


Saturday, June 24

A fun filled night from start to finish to benefit the incredible work of the Oakland Zoo this fundraiser isn’t cheap but it will surely be memorable. The night begins with a special preview of the new aerial gondola, visitors center and restaurant. Followed by the main event from 5:30-10 pm where over 100 caterers, breweries and wineries present their best. The evening is capped off with delectable desserts and live music.

Rock the Plaza

Lafayette Downtown Plaza 6:30-8:30pm

Free, family friendly and fun. Every Friday in June Lafayette’s downtown plaza will be rock n’ rolling! Music starts at 6:30pm after the “market” of vendors sets up starting at 6pm. The music never stops; there is an acoustic hootenanny around the campfire after the main show where guests are welcome to bring their own guitar and play along with special guests.

A two-day event filled with shopping, live entertainment and family-friendly activities. Peruse the eclectic vendor offerings, find a bench and enjoy the live bands and get your fill of delicious local bites. Classic car show on Sunday only.
